With Content Blueprint for Yoga Teachers
This course won't just tell you how to write
an Instagram caption with a few hashtags.
I'll share inspiration and strategy that makes content creation easier, more authentic, and in sync with your teaching!
By the end of the course you'll have a 3-6 month calendar of content ideas and templates to help you implement them!
THE CONTENT WE WILL BE FOCUSING ON...
Your blog (or vlog)
Too often, experts will tell you to leverage 3-4 social platforms. I believe it's better to hone your focus on one social platform while you nurture and grow your own email list. These three components -- a social presence on Instagram, your own newsletter, and a blog or vlog -- give you a robust but also concise content strategy.
Your life before mastering Content Blueprint:
You're spending way too much time thinking about your ideas rather than implementing
You're frequently feeling lost and wonder if you're "doing it right"
You're feeling too overwhelmed to gain any traction and publish consistently
Your life after mastering Content Blueprint:
You feel inspired and confident about creating content that supports your business
You have templates at your fingertips, which makes it easier to execute your ideas
You experience the freedom that comes with advanced planning and organization
Here's what you get when you join:

Selfie-Assured with Wendy K. Yalom
Phenomenal brand-photographer (and former yoga teacher) Wendy K. Yalom shares her process for capturing gorgeous selfies. Wendy has been featured in Cosmopolitan, Forbes, The New York Times, HuffPost & The Wall Street Journal. She is also the warmest, most supportive photographer I've ever worked with and is responsible for many of my brand photos! You will LOVE her!
I’m the host of Yogaland podcast, a passion project I started 4 years ago that has garnered more than 4 million downloads.
Before that I spent more than a decade as Executive Editor at Yoga Journal, editing some of the most prominent yoga teachers of our time – from Seane Corn to Richard Freeman to Maty Ezraty.
I truly believe that everyone has important wisdom and stories to share -- especially yoga teachers! I also believe that consistently creating content for the past 10+ years has been the key to creating a successful yoga business with my husband, Jason Crandell.
The landscape of yoga has changed so much over the past six months with shelter-in-place and social distancing. Creating online content is a definitive, positive step you can take toward maintaining your students, attracting new students and having some control over your own future. I can't wait to see what you create!
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE ME TO PUT MY PLAN INTO ACTION?
I've designed this course by making the lessons as concise as possible. There are 6 hours of pre-recorded content, plus 3 live calls with me. In addition, you will need to set aside time to journal, brainstorm, and create your content. I think you can easily get content up and running in 2-3 weeks; perhaps more quickly if that's what you're aiming for.
YOU CAN DO THE COURSE FROM HOME, FROM ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, AND ON YOUR SCHEDULE.
You can complete the course lessons from the comfort of your couch or kitchen table, as long as you have an internet connection! The entire program is completely digital so you can access it from anywhere through our private course portal.
Is this course right for me?
✅ This course is a great fit for you if:
You are looking for inspiration and support in sharing your content with the world.
You are willing to put yourself out there, try new things, and work through self-doubt.
You're excited by the thought of being able to create more content that helps both you and your yoga business grow!
PS: I recommend that students create a Canva account -- you can use the free version for what I teach.
❌ This course isn't the best fit for you if:
You're looking for a course that teaches you how to "get 10,000 followers fast" -- more followers does not mean more success! We will focus on quality of engagement.
You're not willing to put in your own time to do the work that will help make your content system successful.
You are happy with the focus and organization of your online content.
You're resistant to learning any new.
Here's what you'll be learning:
You will set the foundation for creating content by addressing mindset blocks
and journaling about who you are as a teacher and what your students need
You will define your content scope, learn how to brainstorm effectively, get inspiration from the 8 content types I present, and create a three-month calendar that syncs your content to your teaching.
You absolutely can! You might need a little guidance and direction and if that's the case -- you're in the right place! Everyone has a story to share. Everyone's story is important.
You will get immediate access to the course as soon as you sign up! You will have six months of access to all of the course materials from your own personal start date.
The course contains short videos lessons, tech tutorials, worksheets, and written instructions.
I do tech tutorials to show you how to send newsletters, set up tags, and forms in Kartra. I also do demonstrations of how to use Canva to create graphics. But I do not go into the tech of how to set up a blog, a Youtube channel or your Instagram profile.
That's the long answer. The short answer is -- I focus more on editorial inspiration, idea-generation, and implementation than tech!
Yes! I offer my top three choices for email list providers. We have used a Wordpress blog forever, so I'm not as familiar with all of the blog options. But if I had it to do over again I would use Squarespace.
Yes! If you can't make it to the calls, you can watch them on replay -- we will post the links shortly thereafter. You can also submit questions ahead of time -- we'll give you details for how to do so once you join the course.
You have access to the course for 6 months from your date of purchase.
I recommend taking about two weeks to do the complete course. There are six hours of recorded videos split into digestible pieces. But to really get the most out of this course, I invite you to set aside another hour each day to complete all of the worksheets and templates that are provided.
My philosophy is to keep your publishing platforms as focused as possible, so this course focuses solely on Instagram, email newsletters, and blogging or vlogging. I do not cover Facebook, Pinterest, or Twitter strategies in this course.
You absolutely do NOT have to have those things set up yet. I offer my recommendations and give you a few different platforms to choose from. However, this is not a tech training, so you will have to do the set-up on your own. You can do it -- I promise! (If I can do it, you can do it 💪🏼)
I'm happy to answer any questions you may have so you can determine if this course is right for you! Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I'll get back to you asap.
